“Creating Possibilities, Beyond Limitations”
The business of care, learning and teaching is core to each educator in their respective roles, but when you feel overwhelmed by demands and expectations:
• how can you create the headspace to consider possibilities
to do work and life differently in new and re-energised ways?
• what can you change about your own perspective of what the work really is
and what would help you to feel better?
• how could being more playful and experimental with your approaches to work
support your wellbeing and that of your learners?
Claire asks the questions; she offers coaching strategies and approaches to support you to find your answers; and she provides a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore this with colleagues.
TEACHERS AND EARLY YEARS STAFF – “Change My Thoughts; Change the Learning”
October 29 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm£15
How can you best support yourself to feel good about the work you do every day and the impact that you make? Studies indicate a correlation between teacher wellbeing and pupil wellbeing and achievement. If you feel good, your pupils will learn well, which seems very intuitive, but there are times when staying focused on the positive has been challenging, particularly when it can feel overwhelming with many pressures and demands. Our thoughts are central to our self-care and the relationship that we have with our own thoughts everyday can support our wellbeing… or not! In this session, we look at some of the unresourceful thought patterns that we may have developed about work and ourselves and how we can support ourselves to notice them, change them and move forward more resourcefully.
